My Wish

Once our Building Prototype is complete, built in physical form, every coin will be set within the building, creating a space where your wishes will stay forever, to encourage people to make wishes, to guide those who need guidance, to connect every person who enters the space through a consciousness & purpose bigger than the individual. 

When this time comes (my wish is 2nd March 2033 for completion) - our Buddha Wishes Community will all be invited to the opening event of our first ever conscious & sustainable development created for our local & global community to thrive. 

Leading the way from our little corner of the world on what is possible in the Urban environment & connections, what will create positive change, what & how we can all grow together for the greater good for all through time & space in spiritual & physical form for ourselves, each other & those to come after us, while acknowledging & appreciating those before us. 

It is a connection that is neverending & uninterrupted in the ascension of the spirit of human-kind.

The Story Behind The Birth of This Community

Why did I create the Buddha Wishes Community?

A few reasons.....

It all started with the Buddha statue itself being gifted to me. Very nice touch. Then the stones arrived & it began to feel somewhat like a temple/shrine/sacred station of peace & spiritual energy - sitting quietly in the corner of the room beside the piano.

People who stay at our BnB at my family home (Sherwood Forest) absolutely adored playing the piano! The energy created in the room is always so beautiful when the piano is being played. And the musician's spirit appears physically & mentally uplifted when they've played. Relaxed & nourished.

While Buddha sat quietly. Watching & listening.

Waiting & hoping that someone would connect.

Well we did.

Eventually I added a bowl & placed a coin in the bowl, made a wish. This was at a particularly stressful time of my life. My beautiful daughter was having a really hard time. We had all been dished out a really hard time. I needed help. I needed something bigger than myself to help us. To help her. (you'll be pleased to hear that she's okay now!!! Living her best life in Wellington - where I was born!)

So then, wishing with our quiet, peaceful Buddha began.

Slowly, slowly, the bowl filled with coins from all over the world.

Guests from all corners placed a coin, closed their eyes, & felt their wish in their heart.

We wished them well, sent them on their way & hoped that their wishes all came true.

Sometimes I wonder.

Did all those wishes come true?

I want to know!

This year (after about 5 years of 'bnb-ing') as I noticed that the wish bowl is almost full... I had an idea.

I began planning my apartment building a couple of years ago.

For 2 years, I have been hoping for a break to bring it to life, not sure how to make it happen. Then I decided I needed to make a wish for it.

As part of my wish for my apartment building, I also wish for every wish made with our Buddha to come true for the person who made the wish. I also will be using all the wish coins inside the building. I plan to do this because of the amazing positive & uplifting energy ... 

This apartment building vision was delivered to me by divine intervention & I am doing my very best to honour it.

I hope you enjoyed this story. 

Feel free to make your wish. All the wish enveloped will be saved for the opening of the building. If you attend the opening live, we will be handing you your wish envelope & will see who's wishes have come true during the time from the wish made to the building created in reality. An exciting event I am really looking forward to!
