We have had the help of a wonderful lady from Japan, who worked her way through a long to do list during her two week stay with us.
Next we have a guy from Germany coming to stay for 2 weeks and he will be helping with a lot of building work on yet another very long to do list!

This weekend come along to the Women's Lifestyle Expo where there are heaps of amazing exhibitors (ourselves included of course). When you visit our stall, you will get to play with our samples from our amazing suppliers and put together a sample board, which we will email to you after the busy busy weekend! You can use your sample board to create a beautiful new space for you home, or book a consultation with us to have us create your next living space for you. We are also running a prize draw to win an Interior Design service for your next project totally free!!! So make sure you enter that draw (valued at up to $20,000!!!!).

4th June 2025 - rainy day
Today it's raining outside and I'm sitting cosy by the fire with my little girl, who has been home from school not well for about a week!
We've done some school work. I found pages and pages of learning resources at the secon dhand store I volunteer at and (I promise I'm not a hoarder!!!) I just had to bring them home in case we got the opportunity to work on them. Today's story was The Elephant's Child'. Farrah did really well, and after marking her work she was pleased to get 100%. Talk about a high achiever! Long may it last.
I have just reviewed my survey for my Building Prototype, and have run out of responses, so there is a new link to respond now. Here it is. I'm pretty excited about this project. I have so much other stuff going on, that I get to it as I get to it, but slowly and surely - like most things - it will come together in the end.
This brings me to goal setting.
Every year at the start of the year I set myself some goals to work toward. It's the most exciting part of my year, full of hope, imagination, and the awe of what possibilities lie ahead. What's not to be excited about?
This year I have joined a great group of women in business. We get together once a week for a lunchtime meeting. We have a lot of laughs, and guide each other to achieve our goals. In other news ... this just in ... my son, Hayes, who rides a motorbike, has just got home from work while transporting himself in the rain. I wondered why he was standing outside talking and pacing. He's just come inside and told me he came off his bike. Life can change in an instant. I am thankful he only has a few grazes on his arms and legs by the look of it, and is still smiling. He says 'do you want to check my bike first or me'? Off I go .... what would you check first? I know what I will!!! Silly question 🤍

Welcome to the Bay Property Projects Blog
Today is my birthday & I feel so lucky to have loving people in my life, & space to create.
I always say that you choose the life you live. Not all of it of course because there is such a thing as external factors, but there is a lot of control you have over your own existence.
For example... unfortunately we have had a bit of a rollercoaster of an existence, but throughout it all I have made certain choices that have shaped the today I live.
It all comes from VALUES.
I was brought up by two dedicated parents who worked together as a powerful team. Very traditional. And we were lucky kids to have such amazing parents. Dad called us the A-Team (Alison-Tarken, Emily, Anita, Melissa) and took his job of supporting and providing for us seriously, showing dedication through the years. Now he gets to support his many grandchildren. And play golf. Mum was our leader, with loving guidance and neverending encouragement - she is still a powerhouse of love and support for her kids. And Grandkids. A real inspiration.
That is where my value of being Mum at home comes from. The Mother is the glue. The Father is the provider.
Circumstances have created a situation where I somehow need to navigate being both for my little tribe.
At 19 years old, my son has told me I have done well and is a good man - making Mother proud.
At 17 years old, my daughter has shown admiration for my dedication - even when times were hard.
At 9 years old, my daughter has given love through thoughtful flowers on my birthday - a nice surprise that lightens my heart.
My purpose is my three children. I think they know that.
The life I have created is based around them.
I have lived a very full life, doing so many different things and meeting so many amazing people. I like to flow with what life does, and one of the flows of my life sent me to home and garden design.
I feel like it's brought me home.
I have always been a creative person. I think we're a bit odd, creative people. Maybe a little misunderstood by logical people. And that's okay. We literally speak different languages. I do try to maintain balance in life though. As much as possible. So the logical side of my brain gets exercise also!
It's great to be able to imagine what I want to create, make plans for doing it, then take action and leverage my A-Team to build my creation into reality. I get a kick out of creation. God's creation, and my own. I find it fascinating that us as humans are so powerful that we can visualise something in our mind and magic it into existence.
We are all born with the ability to do it. And we all imagine different things. When we work together for common good for all, that is pure magic.
And with that, I will carry on with my day ... with more magic to make and solutions to create.
